If you haven't noticed yet, a FAQ was recently added to this blog which appears to be a post that was put up sometime this Febuary. If you've been around here long enough, however, you'd realize that this blog started in March, and not February, of 2009.
Instead of pulling things out of my arse, you'll notice that some of the questions are derived from comments that have actually been posted here. Yes, I do in fact care what you people have to say that I created a real FAQ and not something bogus. Cherish it.

This Blog is intended to be serious and straightforward in tone as we (the blog's authors) attempt to debunk and refute the arguments of John W. Loftus and the content that can be found within his blog sites Debunking Christianity, Debunking Creationism, and Debunking the Christian Right. This blog is not maintained strictly by those with a set bias against Loftus and his colleagues. Rather, it is a medium for those who find Loftus' arguments lacking of logical persuasion and worthy of ridicule.

Update 06/01/11 Apparently we need another rule regarding what I consider to be trolling due to a slight epidemic problem we've been having in the commenting section. READ THE NOTICE BEFORE POSTING COMMENTS (IT IS LOCATED DIRECTLY OVER THE TEXT BOX). You will find all that needs to be said there. obviously, those who ignore what the notice reads will be dealt punishment. Thank you. ;)
Update 03/25/11 - With approximately 100 days left to the set expiration date for the poll which specifically asks atheist visitors "Does John Loftus actually contribute anything meaningful to the New Atheist movement?" it appears that the poll has gone haywire just like the previous ones before its inception. This time it appears that the total number of votes has declined dramatically within a recently rapid and short-lived time period, and for this reason I am shutting it down and cutting it short (again).
Again, the poll was intended to reflect the views of our atheist guests on their honest perspectives on John Loftus' helpfulness to the atheist cause (well, New Atheism anyway). Assuming that at the very least, this poll has accomplished this task in terms of the majority of visitors who voted, these are what atheists seem to think:
Total votes: 70
1. Yes: 27
2. No: 16
3. Everything about the New Atheist movement is ridiculous in and of itself: 27
So to be fair to John (despite that the poll results have been tweaked), there seems to be a tied consensus. However, it remains that the cumulative number of naysayers and detractors outnumber the number of advocates and proponents.
So there you have it, John. You still have your popularity, but nonetheless you contribute more to your own incompetence and demise than any productive output you've been responsible for. Time to seek out another profession (or at the very least, another hobby :p).
Update 08/12/10 - A new rule about trolling has been included to the list, as it is becoming an increasing problem on this blog. You still have the freedom to disagree of course, but if you're here just to start fights, make people upset, and go out of your way to be annoying and obnoxious, then go post somewhere else. It's bad enough that we have to put up with those types of things on other people's blogs. Thank you.
Update 06/26/10 - A new poll has been put up for you atheist readers out there. Go ahead and give your honest input on what you think John Loftus contributes to the New Atheist movement, if he does at all...
Update 06/16/10 - The "How would you rate Debunking Christianity to this blog?" poll is broken and seems to be impossible to fix. So much for nothing. Here are the results just in case John tries to boast of non-existent bragging rights:
Total votes: 39
1. DC is definitely better: 17.
2. DC needs to measure up to their own standards: 2
3. DL needs improvement: 2.
4. DL is definitely better: 18.
Well it's been almost two months or more since the poll was put up and we beat John by only one vote. Oh well, despite all other numbers, when it comes to down to actual favorability, we have John outbeat. ;)
